In a video that went viral online, Ranbir is seen talking to a small group of his fans as Brahmastra credits appear on the big screen behind him. Ranbir advises fans not to post spoilers on social media amid cheers from the audience who seem to be answering his question about if he liked the movie.
“So just one request. Jo bhi thode bohot spoilers hain is ke movie (whatever spoiler is in this movie), please try not to put it on social media. Because you know the audience who didn’t see it would like to try it,” Ranbir heard saying. Director Ayan Mukerji joined him on the show.

The drought of the Hindi film industry, which was having a terrible year at the box office, was broken by Brahmastra, which debuted to mixed reviews but won praise for its visual effects. The film grossed Rs 160 crore at the global box office. The film brought great joy to the film industry amid calls for a boycott. Commercial analyst Taran Adarsh shared the figures for the second day of the film which indicate that it has raised Rs 80 crore in the country.

Brahmastra is a three-part trilogy, with the first Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva being released in theaters. During the post-credit scene, the film makers also announced the sequel to his movie called Brahmastra Part 2: Dev. If the rumors are to be believed, the movie will see Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh play major roles in the sequel.
