New Delhi: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) were bowled out for 155 against Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Women’s Premier League at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on Monday. RCB first innings summary

RCB got off to an energetic start with the opening duo of Smriti Mandhana and captain Sophie Devine putting on 39 runs in 4.2 overs. But both batsmen were dismissed by Saika Ishaque.

Smriti Mandhana continues to be in poor form

Mandhana was sent back for a 17-ball 23 by Hayley Matthews. After Disha Kasat did not open her account.

Richa Ghosh contributed 28 off 26 balls. Later, RCB were helped by useful contributions from Kanika Ahuja (22 / 13), Shreyanka Patil (23 / 15) and Megan Schutt (20 / 14).

Hayley Matthews hits three times

Hayley Matthews headed three goals. He successfully removed RCB skipper Mandhan and then cleaned up Heather Knight. He then sent back the set batter, Richa Gosh.
