Realme GT Neo 2 launch seems imminent as the smartphone has been confirmed by the company. Realme took to its official Weibo portal to announce the launch of its upcoming smartphone in China. Also read- Realme Pad display details confirmed ahead of September 9 launch

The Weibo post did not explicitly disclose it realme gt The Neo 2 launch date, however, is speculated to launch the phone this month. The post on the Chinese microblogging site mentions that the Realme GT Neo which was launched in India as the Realme X7 Max 5G sold over one million units. To recall, alleged renders of the Realme GT Neo 2 surfaced on the internet last week. The presents were posted by famed tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (@onleaks). Also read- Confirmation of the arrival of Realme 9 series in India, information will be available on September 9

Realme GT Neo 2 Specs, Features (Expected)

While Realme has just confirmed the moniker of its new smartphone, tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd) has completely revealed the specs list. According to the tipster, the new Realme GT-series phone will feature a 6.62-inch full-HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate. The Realme GT Neo 2 may ship with the Snapdragon 870 SoC which can be paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage. In terms of optics, the phone could get a triple camera setup comprising of 64-megapixel, 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. For selfies, a 16-megapixel sensor can be given at the front. The 5,000mAh battery at the bottom can keep the device running.

For the design, Steve Hemmerstoffer considered realme gt The Neo 2 gave a clear glimpse of what the device could look like. From what we could see, the new Realme phone will get a hole-punch cutout display with thin bezels around its perimeter. At the back, a rectangular camera layout is likely to house triple cameras with dual-LED flash. The USB-C port, SIM tray, speaker grille and microphone can be seen at the bottom. Meanwhile, the power key rests on the right edge and the volume keys sit on the left.

On a different note, Realme is gearing up to showcase a number of products in India this week which include- Realme 8i, realme 8s 5G smartphone, first Realme Pad tablet and two Bluetooth speakers.
