REET: Exam to take place in July this year, says CM Ashok Gehlot

JaipurRajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said on Wednesday that the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (REET) exam will be held in July this year, in which a total of 62,000 posts are yet to be filled.

Gehlot said this during his state budget speech in the assembly. “The REET exam will be conducted in July this year, in which a total of 62,000 posts will be available,” Gehlot said.

36 women’s universities will be opened in 19 districts of the state. 3820 schools up to class 12 will be developed and new medical colleges will be opened in the state. Education hub will be developed in Jaipur. English schools will also be opened. Gehlot added.

He also said that a 3-month bridge course will be organized for school students next year at a cost of 20 crores to compensate for the loss in education due to Kovid-19.

The Chief Minister said that there has been a significant improvement in government educational institutions and enrollment rates.

During the budget, the agriculture budget was also presented for the first time for the state, and Gehlot assured that steps would be taken to strengthen the farmers of the state.

Regarding employment, Gehlot said that a total of one lakh new jobs will be created in the state.

Gehlot said that a lot of emphasis has been given on health services in the budget.

“I declare that the facility of outdoor, indoor OPD, IPD will be free for the people in all government medical institutions of the state. Also, under Chiranjeevi Accident Insurance Scheme, free insurance up to Rs. 5,00,000 will be available to the people. for,” he said.

Gehlot proposed free electricity up to 50 units, Rs 3 per unit from 50-150 units and Rs 2 for those using 150-300 units.

The Chief Minister said that in view of the increasing road accidents, it has also been decided to bring a Road Safety Act.

To improve law and order in the state, the Chief Minister said that 500 mobile police units would be opened in the state. Gehlot said, “Abhay command center will be opened. Cyber ​​police stations will also be opened in all the districts.”

Gehlot announced that 25 bighas of land would be given to the Paralympic winners of the state.

He announced transit hostel facility at Udaipur House in Delhi.
