For this recruitment, General category, OBC and EW category candidates have to pay Rs.1000. However, SC, ST and Divyang category candidates are not required to pay any fee. The application fee must be paid online.

Age group
The maximum age of the candidate for the post of KV PGT is 40 years. While the maximum age of the candidate for the post of TGT / Librarian is 35 years and for PRT it is 30 years.
Selection process
For Kendriya Vidyalaya recruitment candidates have to clear written test, class presentation, interview and aptitude test. This recruitment test will be based on objective type questions. The exam carries a total of 180 marks and consists of 180 questions. Each question is for one point. Applicants are given 3 hours to complete the thesis. Based on all these, the final selection list is issued.
Once candidates pass the exam, they can be posted anywhere in India on their first posting after selection. Through this recruitment process, non-teaching posts including Librarian, Finance Officer, Assistant Engineer (Civil), Assistant Section Officer (ASO), Senior Secretarial Assistant (UDC), Junior Secretarial Assistant (LDC), Hindi Translator and Stenographer, II. degree KVS is admitted.
