New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will end the application process for the UPSC Combined Medical Services Examination (UPSC CMS 2023) on May 9.
Interested candidates who have not yet applied can apply online through the official website upsc.gov.in. Applicants can change their application between May 10 and May 16, 2023.
The recruitment is for 1261 medical officer posts in various government organizations.
Eligible candidates can apply till May 9, 2023 at 6 PM. The exam will take place on July 16. The admit card is issued on the official website well before the exam.
Know the eligibility and age limit
The applicant must clear the MBBS final exam and the practical exam. If we talk about the age limit, then the age of the eligible applicants cannot be more than 32 years on August 1, 2023.
However, the age limit cannot exceed 35 years in the General Duty Medical Officers subdivision of the Central Health Services. There will be an upper age group relaxation for the candidates of the reserved category.
Application fee
Applicants have to pay a fee of Rs. Visa, Mastercard, RuPay credit or debit cards or UPI payment through Bank Net Banking (Rs 200 only) at any SBI branch. Women, SC, ST and PwBD candidates are exempted from this fee.

- Fill out the application form.
- Upload all required documents.
- Pay the application fee.
- Print it for later use.
Recruitment process
i) Written exam in two papers (500 points), maximum 250 points each. Each paper will be two hours long.
ii) Personal interview of suitable candidates based on the results of the written exam (100 points).
