New Delhi: Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma hit his first half-century since 2021 in the Indian Premier League (IPL) against Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Tuesday.
Rohit is fifty years old
Kuldeep Yadav went on the attack and Rohit Sharma steered it to short fine leg for a quick single. This brought up his 50, which he achieved in 29 balls. Meanwhile, it was his first IPL half-century in 25 innings.

The first fifty since 2021
The Mumbai Indians skipper last scored a fifty on April 23, 2021 against the Punjab Kings at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. His knock of 62 off 53 balls guided Mumbai to a modest 131 for 6 in 20 overs.
Rohit-Kishan runs 71 partnerships
Rohit took 29 balls to complete the milestone and looked set to finish the job for his side. Earlier, he gave MI an explosive start with Ishan Kishan. The pair put on 71 runs for the opening wicket before a mix-up left Ishan’s wicket at 31(26).
