Mumbai hits
Chasing a target of 173, Mumbai got off to an impressive start from the opening duo of Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan and added 71 runs for the opening wicket. A mix-up then got rid of Ishan for 31 (26). Rohit then builds a partnership with Tilak Verma. Added a decisive 68 runs for the second wicket before Mukesh Kumar removed him in the 16th over.
Mukesh strikes twice
Mukesh Kumar first bowled Tilak Verma for 41(29) and then Suryakumar Yadav for a first-ball duck.
Mukesh Kumar introduced himself in the attack but Tilak Varma conceded 10 runs in the first two balls.
He started with a full delivery outside off which the batsman hit over the point fielder and hit the boundary. The batsman then hit the pace for consecutive sixes. The first shot came towards mid-wicket and was followed by another maximum over the covers.
However, Mukesh removes him when he takes the aerial route once again. However, his shot found Manish Pandey in the deep. It falls to 41 (29). Mukesh then removed Suryakumar Yadav for a first-ball duck, caught at fine leg by Kuldeep Yadav.
