Royal Enfield in trouble as top sales, marketing execs likely to quit after CEO exit

Mumbai: The makers of iconic Royal Enfield motorcycles- Eicher are having a tough time- with the exit of Royal Enfield CEO Vinod Dasari expecting more resignations at the top, said the report.

According to Economic Times, Lalit Malik, Chief Commercial Officer of Royal Enfield has also tendered his resignation. He was a longtime confidante of Eicher Managing Director (MD) Siddhartha Lal.

The report claims that Shubhranshu Singh, the global head of marketing behind the launch of models like the Interceptor, Thunderbird X, Meteor and the all-new 350 Classic motorcycle, is also serving his notice period.

Even as the company is gearing up to launch several new products, the exit of such important sales and marketing executives comes at a bad time. The company is already facing problems with product launches, such as short supplies of microchips and rising costs of production.

Just before Dasari’s resignation, national business chief Pankaj Sharma had left Royal Enfield to join Ola Electric.
