RRR Box Office Collection Day 1: Jr NTR, Ram Charan’s film smashes all records, breaches Rs 100 crore mark

New Delhi: Director SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR, starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan, has been the talk of the town ever since its release. The film has finally been released and fans cannot keep calm. Also starring Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn, the film has emerged as a true blockbuster among the Hindi-speaking audience. It has opened to a great response at the box office, collecting Rs 18 crore on first day of its release. In Telugu states, the film has shattered all records and already breached Rs 100 crore mark.

RRR has stormed the box office and the film is only expected to go from strength to strength. The film’s Hindi version, according to trade analyst Ramesh Bala’s early estimate has minted Rs 18 crore on the first day. The film has around 2000 screens across the northern belt. “#RRR Hindi early estimates for All-India Day 1 is ₹ 18 Crs Nett..,” tweeted Ramesh Bala. 

The trade analyst also stated that RRR has shattered all records in almost all the cities and towns in Telugu states. “#RRRMovie has created All Time Record for Day 1/Single day Highest collection in almost all the cities and towns in Telugu states..,” he wrote. 

RRR has estimated to cross Rs 100 crore in Telugu states and in Nizam along, the film has garnered more than Rs 23 crore. “All-time Record Alert! #RRR ‘s Day 1 Share in Nizam is a new all-time record of ₹ 23.3 Crs.. Day 1 Telugu States gross must be more than ₹ 100 Crs..,” Ramesh Bala stated in another tweet. 

According to report, the film has crossed Rs 200 crore mark worldwide. “#RRRMovie will be the 2nd Indian Film to Gross ₹200 Cr on it’s 1st Day after #Baahubali2. While it’s most likely to overtake BB2 in India. Overseas Numbers will settle the Record!” stated a Box Office report. 

RRR – The Magnum Opus 

RRR is a fictional story which takes inspiration from the lives of real-life story of Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. The film will see Ram Charan playing the role of Alluri Seetharama Raju and Jr NTR as Komaram Bheem. Alia Bhatt is seen playing the role of Sita. The film is produced on a massive budget of Rs 450 crore by DVV Danayya. Samuthirakani, Ajay Devgn, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody and Olivia Morris will be seen in pivotal roles.
