Russo-Ukraine War: About 850 civilians killed in Ukraine

Kyiv (Ukraine): At least 847 civilians, including 64 children, have been killed in Ukraine since the Russian offensive began on February 24, according to the latest update on Saturday from the UN Human Rights Office.

This is an increase of 31 deaths compared to the previous daily update published on Friday, CNN reported.

Besides them, 1,399 civilians, including 78 children, have been injured, mostly due to shelling and airstrikes. The OHCHR said the actual toll is believed to be much higher.

It said, “Most civilian casualties were caused by the use of explosive weapons with a wide area of ​​influence, including heavy artillery and multiple-launch rocket systems, and shelling from missile and air strikes.”
