Russo-Ukraine war: Second round of talks to be held on March 2

Moscow, Russia): Amidst Russia’s ongoing military operations in Ukraine, a second round of talks between delegations from the two countries is planned on Wednesday, Russian state media reports.

Citing a source, Russia’s TASS news agency said on Tuesday that Wednesday, March 2, is the date both sides had originally agreed upon, CNN reported.

In addition, the Russian state news agency RIA said a second round of talks would take place in Belarus, near the Belarus-Poland border, and cited Belarusian politician Yuri Voskresensky, who he said is close to talks.

According to Voskresensky, the first members of the delegation are expected to reach the Belarusian capital, Minsk, this evening.

After this, the first round of talks on Monday lasted for five hours and ended without any success. However, Ukrainian officials have not yet confirmed that Wednesday is the date for the second round of talks.
