‘Rust’ shooting incident: Alec Baldwin slams claim of not cooperation in investigation

Washington: Actor Alec Baldwin has responded to explicit claims that he is not cooperating with the ongoing investigation into the October shooting of cinematographer Halyana Hutchins on the set of the film “Rust”.

He shared his photos on Instagram on Saturday, saying he was “going to follow a thousand percent” of the investigation. “Any suggestion that I’m not complying with requests or orders or demands or search warrants about my phone is nonsense. It’s a lie,” Baldwin said.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, on October 21 at Rust’s Bonanza Creek Ranch in Santa Fe, Baldwin was accidentally holding a revolver upon discharge, killing Hutchins and injuring director Joel Souza.

Baldwin has said he was not aware there was a live round in the firearm, and the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Department and district attorney are investigating the incident.

According to Baldwin’s new Instagram post, the reason for any alleged delays in his involvement is because he lives in New York.

He said, “Nobody from another state can come up to you and say, ‘Give me your phone, give me this, give me that. They can’t do that. They have to go through the state you live in.’ It’s a process that takes time.”

Baldwin continued, “The best way, the only way, we can honor Helena Hutchins’ death, is to find out the truth. I don’t care about that. It’s going to work all by itself, even if Whatever they say in these rights. -Wing rag sheet.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, during a post on Instagram on January 1, Baldwin referred to the incident as “the worst-case scenario I’ve ever been involved in,” adding that his goal in 2022 is negativity. Don’t let their well be “destroyed” – happening.
