South Africa got off to a slow start
On the other hand, South Africa had a slow start to their innings. Captain Temba Bavuma opened along with Quinton De Kock. However, both were sent back to the pavilion without spending much time in the crease.
After the dismissal of South Africa’s opener, most of the batsmen were sent back to the pavilion without playing a winnable innings. The team had to face a crushing 13-run defeat to Holland. Following this loss, coach Mark Boucher’s statement has gone viral on social media. In his statement, he appears to be particularly angry with members of the South African cricket team.
“This is the most embarrassing defeat of my life”: Mark Boucher
Coach Mark Boucher’s anger can be seen after the Group 2 loss in the Super-12. It is being reported that the South African team has been left out of the T20 World Cup. There he said,
“Maybe as a coach, yes. I think it’s quite disappointing because as a player you could at least stay in the match. As a coach, you leave it to other people and try to perform. Yes, it was definitely the worst loss as a coach.
He further noted that the players coming into the match had low energy, which showed that they were unable to adjust to the time zone.

The plans could not be implemented properly
Mark Boucher went on to say: “I think if you look at the way the match started, our energy was low. Whether it’s ten and a half games, times have been tough. I haven’t had a chance to talk to the players yet and find out where they think it’s gone wrong.
“I think we had plans but we didn’t use them well. I thought if you watch the whole match I think Holland outplayed us. He bowled with good planning. “On the field, they were able to put more pressure on us than we could put pressure on them,” he said.
