Send proof of life via video call in 8 simple steps

SBI Seniors: The Union government recently launched a nationwide campaign to encourage senior citizens to submit Digital Life Certificates (DLCs), also known as Jeevan Pramaan. DLCs ​​save pensioners from having to physically present their proof of life at the bank or to the pension payment authorities.

State Bank of India (SBI) customers can now submit their living standards certificates through video calling, which was introduced in November 2021.

Here are the details on how to send a life certificate through a phone call:

Phase 1: Go to https://www.pensionseva.sbi/ and click on VideoLC at the top of the page.

Step 2: From the home screen of the PensionSeva mobile application, select “Video Life Certificate” from the drop-down menu.

Step 3: After entering the account number to which the pension will be credited, enter the captcha (which is not required when using the application).

Step 4: Check the box to authorize the authorizing bank (in this case SBI) to use your Aadhaar details for VLC and then click on ‘Verify Account’.

Step 5: If you are eligible for VLC, you will receive an OTP on the mobile number linked to your Aadhaar. Enter the OTP if you got one.

Step 6: Once the validation is successful, check the appropriate boxes to confirm the required certificates (self-declared).

Step 7: After submitting all required certificates listed in the drop-down menu, click “Continue”.

Step 8: At this point, you can either wait for a session or book another one.
