Shadan Khan upsets New Zealand’s Devon Conway in PAKvsNZ


Sydney: Pakistan continue to trouble New Zealand in the T20 World Cup 2022 semi-finals as Shadab Khan enforces the sixth over. After the dismissal of Fill Allen, the Kiwis tried to get their innings even, but Shadab Khan has decided otherwise.

With a perfectly timed throw, Khan managed to send Devon Conway back over 6h. It was only a matter of a mini-second that the ball hit the stumps before Conway reached.

Shaheen Shah Afridi’s early demise

Pakistan bowler Shaheed Shah Afridi caused early havoc in the semi-final against New Zealand with a dominant knock in the first over of the game. Shaheen Afridi’s pace of the ball confused New Zealand batsman Finn Allen and he attempted a shot but went straight to the stumps.

PAKvsNZ – New Zealand won the toss, elected to bat first

After winning the toss, Kane Williamson had announced that he will choose to bat first and play with the same team. “We will have a bat. A used surface. We have the same team. It is important that we assess the changing conditions quickly. We will focus on this game.”

However, their decision is not very fruitful. Finn Allen went for 4 runs and Devon Conway is back for 21 runs.
