Haryana [India], October 16 (ANI): Two more Nihangs were detained by Haryana Police on Saturday in connection with the Singhu border incident, where a mutilated body was found hanging at the protest site of farmers.

Earlier today, an accused in the Singhu border incident was sent to seven days’ police custody by the court.
Police have identified the accused as Sarvjit Singh, who was earlier detained from Kundli in Sonipat on Friday evening.
The second accused in the Singhu border incident was arrested by the Amritsar Rural Police on Saturday from outside a Gurdwara located at Rakh Devidas Pura in Amarkot village of Punjab.
The accused has been identified as Narayan Singh.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Hansraj said that earlier on Friday, a man’s hand and leg was found chopped off at police barricades at the protest site of farmers near Singhu border. The DSP said that an FIR has been registered in the matter.

The youth has been identified as Lakhbir Singh, a resident of Cheema Khurd village in Tarn Taran district of Punjab. The deceased, around 35-36 years old, who worked as a labourer, has no criminal record or affiliation with any political party, informed the police. (ANI)
