Subramanian Swamy slams Centre, equates Ladakh military standoff with 1962 debacle


Subramanian Swamy, in a statement on his Twitter account, compared the long-standing military standoff between India and China on the LAC in Ladakh with the defeat of the 1962 war.

New Delhi: BJP leader Subramanian Swamy has accused the PM Modi-led central government of failing to stop the “Chinese invasion” of India, which he claimed over thousands of square kilometers of Indian territory.

In a statement on his Twitter account, Subramanyam Swami Compare the long-standing military standoff between India and China on the LAC in Ladakh with the defeat of the 1962 war.

“China has already attacked us, occupied a few thousand square kilometres, built townships, roads and observation posts. And we don’t know. No one came… Will the Modi government accept the truth? Subramanian Swamy has given many public statements against BJP and PM Modi in recent times.

Subramanian Swamy released the report card of the PM Modi government through a post on his Twitter account on Thursday morning.

Subramanian Swamy has alleged that the PM Modi government has failed on issues like economy, border security, foreign policy, national security and internal security. He asked who was responsible for these failures.

On Wednesday, BJP Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy met Mamata Banerjee. Subramanian Swamy praised Mamata Banerjee after the meeting.

“Of all the politicians I have met or worked with, Mamata Banerjee is Morarji Desai, JP, Rajiv Gandhi, Chandrashekhar and PV Narasimha Rao. There is no difference in the words and actions of these people. This is a rarity in Indian The virtue is politics,” Subramanian Swamy told the media.

When the BJP leader was asked if he would join TMC, he said, “I am already with Mamata Banerjee. I don’t need to join TMC.”

Swamy is reportedly unhappy with the BJP for not getting special attention from the party. Unhappy over not getting a big role in the second innings of the NDA government, Subramanian Swamy has not hesitated to openly criticize the decisions of the central government for some time now.
