Mohan Singh, a resident of Mohali, was the curator of the ongoing ICC Men’s T20 World Cup match between Afghanistan and New Zealand on Sunday. As per the sources known to the development, he was found dead in his room before the Super 12 match.
After training to become a curator in India at the Punjab Cricket Stadium in Mohali, Mohan came to Abu Dhabi in September 2004, where he had served since 1994, first as a ground supervisor as well as assisting the coaches.
Afghanistan face New Zealand in the last match of Group 2. Afghanistan won the toss and decided to bat first. The team had a poor start in the crunch game. (ANI)
