The upcoming Blackbird SUV may be based on the X1 platform of the company’s best-selling car, the Nexon. But its size will be bigger and thanks to this you will see more space and more trunks. Its design may be new, and its front and rear appearance are likely to be in different designs.

A new 1.5 liter petrol engine can be used in this car. Which will be bigger and more powerful than the 1.2 liter Revotron engine found in the Nexon. This engine will have 160 horsepower. It also includes the option of manual and automatic transmission. The initial ex-showroom price of this car is likely to be around Rs. 11 million.

It will compete with Crete

The upcoming Blackbird will compete with the Hyundai Creta in the Indian market. This car is available in three engine variants. This includes the 1.5-litre MPI petrol engine, the 1.5-litre U2 CRDi diesel and the 1.4-litre Kappa Turbo GDi petrol engine which produce 113bhp and 143.8Nm, 113bhp and 250Nm and 138bhp respectively. .
