Tata launches the Nexon XZ + (L) variant, find out the details

New Delhi: Tata has crossed the Rs four crore mark for the Nixon exactly five years after the compact SUV was launched in September 2017. To mark the occasion, Tata Motors has also launched the XZ+ (L) variant priced at Rs 11.38 lakh (former showroom, Delhi).

Nexon became India’s best-selling SUV in fiscal year 2022 (April 2021 – March 2022) and maintained the lead in the April-August 2022 quarter.

It took Nexon 1 year and 10 months to reach its first production phase of 1,00,000 units; After another year and 11 months, it’s 2,00,000 points, with 3,00,000 coming in the next eight months. The last 1,00,000 units took just seven months.

Several powertrain options – including an electric vehicle – secure its status as the first Indian car to receive five stars in Global NCAP Adult Protection crash tests, and multiple versions with distinctive cosmetic improvements are some of the reasons why the Nexon is so popular in the compact SUV segment.
