New Delhi: The country’s veteran businessman Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, 62, passed away today at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. He was ill for a long time. Rakesh Jhunjhunwala was recently seen in public at the inauguration ceremony of Akasa Airlines.

Rakesh Jhunjhunwala’s net worth is said to be around 40 thousand crore rupees. He had worked hard to become the owner of such great wealth.

Rakesh Jhunjhunwala bought 5000 thousand shares of Tata Tea at the price of 43 rupees i.e. he invested 2 lakh 15 thousand rupees. After about 90 days, when Tata Tea’s share price rose, he sold it at Rs 100 per share, or Rs 143. In three months, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala made a profit of five lakh rupees. After this, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala never looked back.
