Speaking of the price increase, according to the new list, Kia has increased the price by up to 50,000 depending on the version. Most variants have received a price hike of Rs 30,000. The top-of-the-line diesel 6AT Luxury Plus 7-seater variant will be priced from Rs 16.99 lakh to Rs 17.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Kia Carens transmission
Three engine options are available for the transmission of Kia Carens. It is available with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated diesel engine and a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine.
Its 1.5 liter petrol engine is capable of producing 113 horsepower and 144 Nm of peak torque. At the same time, the 1.5-liter diesel engine produces 250 Nm of torque and 113 horsepower. Its third engine option is a 1.4-liter turbo petrol version capable of producing 138 horsepower and 242 Nm of peak torque.

The Kia Carens MPV is mated to a six-speed manual transmission on its petrol engine for excellent performance, while the diesel engine is available with a six-speed manual and a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
