Nintendo’s Fire Emblem Heroes has topped $1 billion in lifetime global spending since its launch on Feb. 2, 2017. The RPG is the first of the console giant’s mobile games to hit the milestone, accounting for 54.5% of its revenue total mobiles to date. . In terms of downloads, Fire Emblem Heroes ranks 4th in its portfolio, recording 17.8 million installs, or 2.7% of the total. This is despite generating only 121,000 new downloads during the quarter, representing less than 1% of Nintendo’s mobile game installs. According to Sensor Tower Game Intelligence, meanwhile, the title ranked 18th in revenue-generating mobile Squad RPGs worldwide in the first quarter, above titles such as Moonton’s Mobile Legends: Adventure and Pokémon Masters EX. from DeNA.
Japan proved to be the most lucrative market for Fire Emblem Heroes, with the title generating $540.6 million in the country, or 54% of total player spending. The United States ranks 2nd with 32.4% of revenues and Canada 3rd with 3.2%.
