Australia wins by 31 runs

Australia beat the West Indies by 31 runs after successfully defending their total of 178 runs. “The difference in the game was Davey and Tim with the bat on a wicket that had its challenges. You’re always learning, there’s a method to everything we do and it’s not just that you come out and make a change on that particular day,” Australia captain Aaron Finch said after winning the series.

“There will be challenges (in the England series), few lads get knocked out, few lads stay behind and it’s about finding our feet before the World Cup,” he added.

“It was a fantastic overall performance. Well executed by the bowlers, they bowled a nice line and length. I’ve had a good little break and am looking forward to going to Perth. A bit like me when I started, he (Green) is going to be a huge influence going forward,” said David Warner, Player of the Series.
