Twitter founder Jack Dorsey apologizes to ‘people mad at him’ after Musk acquisition


New Delhi: Twitter founder Jack Dorsey issued an apology on Saturday, days after Elon Musk’s takeover of the microblogging website. He said: “I realize a lot of people are angry with me, I apologize for that.”

His comment came after many Twitter users and dissidents criticized the Tesla owner’s takeover. Twitter users, especially those with a blue check mark, are especially clear about the $8 monthly charges announced by Elon Musk.

Most users feel that if monthly fees are necessary to keep Twitter financially afloat, Musk should “lower the prices” so that the platform remains accessible to the masses.
