Ukraine crisis: Prime Ministers of Poland, Slovenia and Czech Republic arrive in Kyiv

Kyiv (Ukraine): Prime Ministers of Poland, Slovenia and the Czech Republic arrive by train in Kyiv to meet President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and Prime Minister Denis Shmyal.

CNN reported that the prime minister arrived in the city on behalf of the EU Council, with Shyamal praising the “courage of true friends” on Twitter.

Shyamal said the leaders would discuss “supporting Ukraine and strengthening sanctions against Russian aggression”.

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki also tweeted photos that show him interacting with other visiting prime ministers.

“It is here, in war-torn Kyiv, that history is being made. It is here that freedom fights a world of tyranny. It is here that the future of all of us hangs in the balance. The EU supports the UA, which defends its friends.” Can count on help – we brought this message to Kyiv today,” he said.
