Union Minister Thakur’s push clears traffic in Himachal’s Bilaspur


New Delhi: Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur, who is campaigning for the BJP in his home state of Himachal Pradesh, was seen pushing a bus that broke down in the middle of the highway, causing a traffic jam in HP’s Bilaspur.

In the video, Thakur is seen helping the locals in pushing the bus. The minister’s convoy also got stuck in traffic.

Thakur’s father Prem Kumar Dhumal was the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh from 2007 to 2012.

Voting in Himachal Pradesh will be held on November 12 and counting will begin on December 8. The minister was present at the election ceremony.

According to reports, Thakur was returning after addressing election rallies in Ghumarvi, Jhanduta and Sadar assembly constituencies in Bilaspur when he got stuck in traffic.
