UP Election 2022: Akhilesh Yadav says, ‘CM Yogi Adityanath distributing laptop, but can’t operate one’

Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh): Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Friday took a dig at Yogi Adityanath and said that the Uttar Pradesh chief minister is distributing laptops while he himself does not know how to operate a laptop.

Addressing an election rally in Ayodhya, Akhilesh Yadav said, “The Samajwadi Party had built a Bhajan Sthal here. I have seen Lord Krishna’s bow. What will such a government do that cannot even make Lord Krishna’s bow and arrow properly? ‘Baba’ Chief Minister was distributing laptops, but he himself is unable to operate the laptop.”

The former Chief Minister said that Yogi Adityanath has only cheated the people in the state. He also promised 300 units of free electricity and waiving house tax to the people of the state.

Promising to increase the circle rate in Ayodhya, Yadav said, “If the government takes land in Ayodhya for development, the circle rate will be increased and people will be given six times compensation.”

Circle rate is the minimum price at which sale or transfer of plot, manufactured house, apartment or commercial property can take place.

Voting has concluded for four phases of assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh and the remaining three phases will be held on February 27, March 3 and March 7. The counting of votes will take place on March 10.

In the 2017 assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won 312 seats out of the 403-seat Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, while the Samajwadi Party (SP) won 47 seats, the Bahujan Samajwadi Party (BSP) won 19 seats and the Congress. It could win only seven seats. seats. Rest of the seats were occupied by other candidates. (ANI)
