UP Elections 2022: People have once again voted for nationalism, good governance: Yogi Adityanath

Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday said the victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the assembly elections shows that people have once again voted for nationalism and good governance.

He further said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP will form the government in Uttar Pradesh, Goa, Manipur and Uttarakhand. He said, “Looking at the vastness of the state, all eyes were on UP. I am thankful to the people for making me win with a majority. Under the leadership of PM Modi, we will form governments in UP, Goa, Manipur and Uttarakhand.” Yogi Adityanath after victory in Uttar Pradesh.

The Chief Minister said that polling was conducted peacefully in the state in seven phases. “It sets a great example,” he said.

“Amidst the enthusiasm, we have to stay focused… When we were fighting COVID, they (opposition) were conspiring against us. By making us win, people have once again voted for nationalism, good governance. This is our We have a responsibility to continue working on these issues,” he said.

When he reached the BJP office in Lucknow, he also showed a sign of victory as he was welcomed by a huge crowd of party workers. (ANI)
