In a series of tweets, the BSP chief said it is necessary to change the ruling party to get rid of all kinds of false promises made by the BJP. In another tweet, he said, “Wrong policies of the ruling party have made poor people poorer, should not be trusted anymore and BSP should be trusted.”

Voting for the third phase of Uttar Pradesh elections began at 7 am on Sunday for 59 seats.
In the third phase of Uttar Pradesh elections, voting will be held in 59 assembly seats in 16 districts on Sunday. 627 candidates are in the fray. Over 2.16 crore voters are eligible to exercise their franchise in 25,794 polling stations and 15,557 polling stations in the third phase of the assembly elections.
The major constituencies where voting began today include Karhal where former chief minister and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav is contesting his first assembly election. The BJP has pitted Satya Pal Singh Baghel, Union Minister of State in the Ministry of Law and Justice, against Akhilesh Yadav.
Akhilesh’s uncle and Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (Lohia) supremo Shivpal Singh Yadav is contesting from Jaswantnagar seat.
Counting of votes in Uttar Pradesh will take place on March 10.
