Well, according to a report from Pinkvilla, the actor has been signed for director Sujoy Ghosh’s segment in the upcoming anthology Lust Stories 2. Lust Stories 2 was funded by Ronnie Screwvala, Ashi Dua and Netflix. Although the female lead for Sujoy Ghosh’s segment has not yet been cast, it is reported that the lead role will be finalized soon.
Meanwhile, Vijay and Sujoy have previously collaborated on The Devotion of Suspect X. It also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat.
According to reports, Vijay’s character in Lust Stories 2 will be very different from what he has played so far.
The actor-director duo is also looking forward to working together again on this project. They will start filming soon after finding their leading lady for the anthology.
It was previously reported that creators have banned Mrunal Thakur, Angad Bedi and Neena Gupta from R Balki’s part of Lust Stories 2.
Kajol is headlining Amit Ravindernath Sharma’s film while Konkona Sen Sharma has chosen Tillotama Shome and Amruta Subhash for her segment.
