New Delhi: Bollywood and cricket fans can now enjoy an amazing combination of good food, music and cricket at one place in Mumbai. Indian star batsman Virat Kholi has converted legendary singer Kishore Kumar’s old bungalow ‘Gouri Kunj’ into a restaurant where you can enjoy cuisine, cricket and cinema under one roof.

‘Gouri Kunj’, once owned by late great singer Kishore Kumar, will now be known as ‘One8 Commune’. The restaurant is located in Juhu, Mumbai.

Virat Kohli gave fans a glimpse of his new venture yesterday in a YouTube video where Kohli can be seen showing actor Manish Paul around.

The video features Manish and Virat sharing their unique food stories. The video was posted on the ‘One8 Commune’ YouTube channel.

When asked about the choice of venue, the 33-year-old batsman revealed that he is a big fan of Kishore Kumar. He also sang a few lines from Kishore Kumar’s popular song ‘Mere Mehboob Qayamat Hogi’.

“His songs really touched me. A person asked who would you like to meet, I would have always said Kishore Da because he was simply charismatic.

Virat also posted some clips from the video on his Instagram page to promote his venture.

Kohli posted a video on his Instagram account with the caption, “A bit of fun, laughter and lots of communication! Check out the exclusive footage of us introducing our newest village Juhu, which launches on October 8th.”

According to reports, Kohli has leased the property in Juhu for five years.

Apart from being a cricketer, Virat also has other businesses ranging from clothing, fragrances and shoes under the brand name ‘One8’ which is associated with Puma. He also invested in another brand ‘Wrogn’.

This is not the first time that Kohli has embarked on a new venture. The former Indian cricket team captain already has a chain of ‘One8 Commune’ stores in Delhi, Kolkata and Pune.
