‘We will end lives’: SSR’s manager Disha Salian’s family writes to Prez Kovind

New Delhi: Disha Salian, Sushant Singh Rajput’s former manager, died by suicide a week before actor’s demise. Disha ended her life by jumping off a building. Her death came to light after Sushant Singh Rajput’s passing away on June 14. Sushant Singh Rajput’s fans have claiming it for long that Disha’s death is linked to actor’s death as both died within a span of one week. While Sushant’s family had called his death a planned murder, Disha’s parents had ruled out any foul play as they request media for the privacy.

In 2021, Mumbai Police, who was probing Disha’s death case, had closed it stating no evidence of any foul play was found during their investigation. Cops also denied finding any link that led to the allegations of her death being linked to SSR’s, who passed away on June 14, 2020.

Now, Disha Salian’s family has written to President Ram Nath Kovind to seek justice for their daughter. The Salians have written a letter to the President urging him to take a step against Union Minister Narayan Rane and his son Nitesh Rane. The family has claimed that Disha’s death is being ‘politicised’.

Tweeting about the same, ANI wrote, “Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s former manager Disha Salian’s family in a letter urges President Ram Nath Kovind to take action against Union Minister Narayan Rane and his son Nitesh Rane, alleging that their daughter’s death is being politicised.”

Earlier in the day, Disha Salian’s mother Vasanti Salian asked politicians to stop questioning the circumstances surrounding her death. In a heart-wrenching appeal, she said, “I have lost my only daughter. These people are defaming us. They are dragging my daughter’s name in their politics. This should stop. Let us live peacefully.”

Apart from managing Sushant Singh Rajput, Disha Salian has also worked with other actors like Rhea Chakraborty and Varun Sharma.
