The Bureau of Meteorology said in its forecast, “Cloudy. Very high chance (close to 100%) of showers late morning and afternoon. Chance of a thunderstorm, likely severe. Winds Northeast 25 to 35 km/h It tends north to northwest at 15-20 km/h in the evening and then becomes light in the late evening.”
Who would win if rain played spoiler sport?
If rain interrupts the match, it will be carried over to reserve day, i.e. tomorrow. ICC has increased the game time by 1.5 hours and if the game is not finished even within this frame, it will continue to the next day. Making changes to the time allotted for the reserve day, the ICC allowed 4 hours instead of 2.
