Karachi: England and Pakistan are set to tie the third T20I at the National Stadium, Karachi. After a strong performance in the second game, the English men will have to be more prepared for this game.
The series is currently at Level 1-1 and the hosts are not in the mood to lose on their home ground. England scored a win in the first match with 6 wickets and then Pakistan bounced back again with a solid 10 wicket win.
Muhammad Radwan and Babar Azzam break records
The pair broke many records during the double century period. They have 1929 runs as partners which is the most in T20I history, surpassing the record-holding pairs of Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan with 1,743 runs.
Babar and Redouane also scored seven centuries old stands in the T20Is, a record. And the stand at 203 runs is the T20’s biggest chase, too.
Pakistani superstar Shaheen Afridi tweeted after the record win that was riddled with ridicule, directing to critics who pointed out Babar and Rizwan’s relatively low hit rate to the detriment of Pakistan in the T20Is.
