New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday said he will continue to raise his voice and protest till the government puts Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni behind jail for his alleged involvement in the Lakhimpur Kheri case.

“Till the time Ajay Mishra Teni is put behind the bars, we will continue to raise our voice. Even if it takes 10-15 years. Without struggle and pressure, people will not get justice,” Rahul told the media. Today.

The Congress leader said the opposition wants to discuss the SIT report in Parliament, which said the killing of farmers in Uttar Pradesh’s Lakhimpur Kheri was a “planned conspiracy”. The report also clearly states, “The incident was a willful act and not negligence or negligence.”

He said, ‘We want Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni to resign, but the government will not allow this to happen. If we create pressure, the Union Minister will have to step down. But a conspiracy has been hatched.

He further said that the Prime Minister is aware of the Union Minister who is in his cabinet but he is “silent” on the issue.

Rahul Gandhi said, “On one hand Prime Minister Narendra Modi is apologizing to the farmers and on the other hand not giving them compensation. He has given a place in the cabinet to the person involved in the killings in Lakhimpur Kheri incident.” ,

Rahul said that his party wanted to raise the issue in Parliament but permission was not being given. “When I was in Lakhimpur Kheri, I had promised the people that whatever happens, we will put pressure on the government and bring justice to the people,” he said.

On October 3, eight people, including four protesting farmers, were killed after they were rammed by an SUV allegedly belonging to Union minister Ajay Mishra’s son Ashish Mishra. According to reports, Ajay Mishra met his son Ashish in jail for 20 minutes on Tuesday night.
