World can’t let Putin get away with it, Blinken at UNSC


New Delhi: There have been many developments since President Vladimir Putin spoke in Russia. The speech resulted in the issuance of a decree that sent Ukraine and NATO members into a frenzy.

Putin is promoting a soldier mobilization

Putin announced a partial military mobilization in Russia. He said that only those in the military reserve and those who have served in the Russian army and have relevant experience will be conscripted.

Vladimir Putin said, “the mobilization activity begins today, the decree has been signed.”

Biden blasts Putin at UN General Assembly

US President Joe Biden blasted Vladimir Putin in a speech to the UN General Assembly on Wednesday, accusing him of “shamelessly violating” the UN Charter by invading nearby Ukraine.

In a speech to the UN General Assembly, Biden stated that “Russia has shamelessly violated key foundations of the UN Charter.”

Following these statements by the American and Russian colleagues, there have been many developments on the road to “global catastrophe”.

According to a report by the AFP news agency, the head of the UN Security Council is urging an investigation into the “catalogue of atrocities” in the war in Ukraine.

AFP also reported that US Sec. Blinken told the Security Council that the world “can’t let Putin get away with it” in Ukraine. The Russian Foreign Minister rejected Western accusations against Ukraine at the UN Security Council.
