New Delhi: Yamaha electric scooter launch: More than one electric scooter will be launched in the Indian market in the next year i.e. 2023 which will include products from other companies such as Honda and Suzuki. As part of this effort, Yamaha may also launch its first electric scooter in India next year, which may be dubbed the Yamaha E01.

Yamaha’s first electric scooter will be of the Maxi style, which can give stiff competition to other companies’ electric scooters due to its looks and features, as well as good battery range.

According to media reports, Yamaha’s first electric scooter in the Indian market will be identical in appearance and features to its existing petrol scooters.

It will get many more features including headlights and taillights with full LED setup, comfortable seats and storage space under the seat. After that, the rest of the Yamaha E01 will see many special features including disc brakes, ABS, wide tires, display with smartphone connectivity .

Increasing focus on e-scooters

Let us tell you that Yoshihiro Hidaka, CEO of Yamaha Motor Company, had said last year that the company will bring a new electric two-wheeler to be launched in Asian countries in the coming period. At the same time, medium-sized electric bicycles are also launched. The company is working on a plan to convert 90% of its offering to electric vehicles by 2050.

As the demand and sales of electric vehicles have increased in recent years, Yamaha also seems to be preparing to present people with good options by focusing on the electric vehicle segment.
