Zelenskyj calls on NATO to “preventive strikes”

New Delhi: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy released a video with an “important message”. In the video, the Ukrainian President called on the NATO countries to take preventive action against Russia.

The video shows Zelenskyy telling NATO to rule out the possibility of Russia using nuclear weapons. He said, “What should NATO do? Eliminate the possibility of Russia using nuclear weapons. But, importantly, I am appealing to the international community again, as I did prior to February 24.”

Zelnskyy continued: “We need pre-emptive strikes so that they know what will happen to them if they use nuclear weapons, and not the other way around.” Don’t wait for Russia’s nuclear strikes and then say, “Oh, since you did this, buy this from us!” Rethink the way you push. That’s what NATO should do: reconsider the order in which it applies pressure (on Russia).”
